Located at 1255 NW 58 Street, Miami, Florida, the proposed development will add 34 newly renovated units for High Needs/High Cost individuals who are chronically homeless. Coalition Lift is part of a pilot program that incorporates a multi-year study evaluating the ability of Permanent Supportive Housing linked with coordinated local and state public-private partnerships to reduce public expenditures and improve personal outcomes for High Needs/High Cost Chronically Homeless persons. All 34 units will be set-aside for individuals earning 33% or less of the AMI.
This proposed new construction community of 60 housing units at 5329 NW 17th Avenue, Miami, Florida will be located within the area of Liberty City. Forty eight of Liberty Village's units will house formerly homeless Veteran families and individuals. No less than 25% of units will be provided to residents earning 33% or less of the AMI; the remainder will be provided to households earning 60% or less of the AMI.
Karis Village, located at 11875 SW 216th Street in Miami's Goulds neighborhood close to Cutler Ridge and Cutler Bay, is a new construction $25M affordable housing development which will provide 88 fully-amenitized units serving low-income and formerly homeless veterans and families. Half of the community's apartments will be allocated for formerly homeless individuals/families and the other half will serve those earning at or below 60% of the AMI.
The Residences at Equality Park
Located in the heart of Ft. Lauderdale's Wilton Manors neighborhood, The Residences at Equality Park will serve as a 48-unit development that provides low-income housing and on-site supportive services for LGBTQ seniors with disabiling conditions as part of a collaboration with South Florida non-profit The Pride Center.
