A group of sophomore high school students from Miami’s Christopher Columbus High School presented dozens of “house-warming” baskets to formerly homeless veterans moving into their new apartments at Carrfour Supportive Housing’s Liberty Village community. Baskets included essential household items needed when moving into a new home, such as laundry detergent, cleaning supplies and tools, paper towels, sheets, batteries, etc.
